Day 1: East Bank Tour (Karnak and Luxor Temples)
Your private Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel or cruise in Luxor. Begin your tour on the East Bank by visiting the Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built, dedicated to the God Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. Wander through the spectacular Hypostyle Hall with its giant pillars. Next, proceed to the magnificent Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals. Admire the statues, obelisks, and the impressive Avenue of Sphinxes that once connected the two temples. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.
